Window

On Friday I caught Jamison looking out our bedroom window. It was a beautiful time of day. It made me think about what it must be like to be a little child, when everything is so new. What kind of wonder must he feel when he looks out onto such a big world?

But it wasn't the big world he was looking for...

it was his daddy, who was out mowing the lawn.

When I finally pulled the little squirt away from the window, this was the shirt-appropriate look I got:

Wendy and Kory's Engagements

I had sooo much fun with these to at one of my favorite spots--the SLC library. It was a gorgeous clear day (one of the few this month--lucky us!) and they were so cute, I love how every shot turned out! Now humor me and check out the one where the sun looks all starry between them and there are a million little lens sparkles...

Emily and Mark Teaser

Yesterday was Emily's and Mark's wedding...wow. I don't know if I have ever photographed a couple so oblivious to my presence! They only had eyes for each other, and every picture I got was simply breathtaking. Their day was so special, I was so lucky to have been able to be a part of it. Their photos will be availabe July 4th (I hope...don't hate me if they are a teeeensy bit later than that!) so come back to take a look!

Carli and Ryan's Wedding!

Finally! It has almost been a month but Carli and Ryan's ceremony was so sweet...I loved their colors (red and teal...so original!) and the set up (I'm thinking I need a candy table for my house, too!) But the best part of it was how beautiful their new little family is. Congratulations you two!

Kristi and Jason Teaser+New Header!

Kristi and Jason's wedding at the Draper Temple on Thursday was simply beautiful...The sky was stunning but it didn't rain a drop until right after we finished our pictures. The rest of these pictures will be up for your enjoyment by July 1st! (I've decided that if I commit myself, I will get things finished up in a reasonable amount of time!)

As you can see, I've used one of their pictures as my new header...I just couldn't resist with such an expanse of cloudy sky...

Bianca's Seniors

Bianca is such a fun girl! We went up 25th street to do her senior pictures, one of my favorite places for a hip look. I'm totally digging the black and white one at the top...you should have seen how it printed up! So awesome!

Hislop Family

I know this is only a few...but I'm having a bit o'trouble uploading the ones I want...but you can get the idea! The Hislop Family is soooo fun, so many adorable kids! There were 4 babies born this last year, all girls, all within like 2-3 months of each other! So cute! The picture of them was actually taken at the same park...one of the moms had brought a white sheet and one of the dad's got on the ground longways so the babies could lean against him to sit up while we were taking the picture...you'd never know it!

The Simmons Family

Michelle (my cousin) and her husband Shane were down a few weeks ago from Montana, and while they were here we got together so we could get some pictures. Her boys are getting so big! And they are busy! So after trying to hold them still (ineffectually) it turned out much better just to let em do their thing! I love the bridge shots, so expressive!
