Paige and Caleb's Formals

Last summer I had the fantastic opportunity to work with this awesome couple on a formal session.  I didn't get to do their wedding--as I recall, I was busy that day.  You know, having a baby and all. :)  But I was so happy to have had the opportunity to meet them and to do this session.  I have to say, I miss all that greenery!  Two days into spring, I am ready for summer. :)

Inspire Me Monday--Ellie Goulding

All, right.  I'll admit it.  9 times out of 10 I will listen to a new musical artist because I like their cover artwork.

Ok, so probably not the most effective method of finding new stuff I like, but every now and then I hit gold.  I had just bought a song on amazon.com and at the bottom was this little thumbnail (see pic below) under people who bought this item also bought...and I thought, "ooh, sparkles!" So I clicked.

I know, I know.  I am so scientific in my musical selection habits.

And thus I discovered my newest musical fave, Ellie Goulding.

Funny thing is, I generally prefer a more raw sound, but this really works for me.  Want to hear some of my favorites?

Whitney and Lane's Engagements

Since it finally is feeling a little bit like spring outside (for now, at least!) I wanted to post an engagement session from spring last year, and Whitney and Lane's engagements fit the bill!  I know, I know, a photo from this session has been gracing my header slideshow for a very long time, but its about time you all got to see the rest of them!
