Marcie and Brian's Engagements

I loooooved the weather this day.  Gorgeous, perfect light.  Soft spring air, balmy breeze.  Plus, blossoms on the trees...all adds up to a great shoot.  Plus good lookin' people...yeah, that always helps!  And I got to be a bit of a daredevil and had my stunt driver/assistant photographer/flash holder Sam drive while I stood on the seat with my head through the sunroof, getting pics of them on their scooter.  Good times were had by all. :)

Kyle and Tiffany's Beach Engagements

We lucked out with an amazing sunset a week ago for Kyle and Tiffany's shoot.  And we lucked out with such a fun couple.  I have to give them props for their props (go ahead and groan, I'm not afraid to admit my lameness, hehe) Though we had only a few quick minutes of pre-sunset shooting (who knew the beach would be like a zillion miles from the parking area?!?) we had a great time.  At the end of the day we smelled like salt water and bug spray, had shoes full of sand, and a camera full of awesome pics! Thanks guys!

And this one brings a whole new meaning to "geek chic."  hehe...bringing. sexy. back.  :)

Annie's Bridals

Something about this girl just reminds me of classic hollywood beauty.  I keep thinking Katharine Hepburn.  I don't know what it is!  She is just so poised and elegant, so easy to photograph!  And in hurricane strength winds, no less!

 

We had to go inside for a few, which gave me an opportunity to bust out my new off-camera flash techniques. So glad! If the weather had been cooperative, we would have missed these shots, a crying shame!
