...I've got my love to keep me warm...

Any other self-respecting, smart photographer would have cancelled last Saturday...but nope, not me.

And I am so glad!

Super kudos go to Clay and Clarissa, who made it through a whole session in the freezing blizzard-like conditions...and they didn't even cuss at me. not once. :)

So while I was editing these pics I had the words to this song in my head...

The snow is snowing, the wind is blowing
But I can weather the storm!
What do I care how much it may storm?
I've got my love to keep me warm.
I can't remember a worse December
Just watch those icicles form!
What do I care if icicles form?
I've got my love to keep me warm.

Off with my overcoat, off with my glove
I need no overcoat, I'm burning with love!
My heart's on fire, the flame grows higher
So I will weather the storm!
What do I care how much it may storm?
I've got my love to keep me warm.

Off with my overcoat, off with my glove
I need no overcoat, I'm burning with love!
My heart's on fire, the flame grows higher
I will weather the storm!
What do I care how much it may storm?
I've got my love, I've got my love,
I've got my love to keep me warm.

Good job! These turned out really good! I wish my shoot would have been an e-session because this looks like it was really fun. Unfortunately mine was a family session, and two little kids would not have faired so well in conditions like this haha! Beautiful shots!

Lol no I didn't write the poem...Irving Berlin did! In like, the 1930s! I tried to post a link to youtube where Frank Sinatra was singing it...but you actually have to cut and paste the address.

I'm glad you guys like 'em!
