I want to learn how to make the background blurry and Sophie the center of attention in my pictures. I've read about it with the aperture and stuff but don't understand it and she doesn't hold still long enough.
Kate-yep the bigger you open your aperture (the smaller the number...confusing I know) the better depth of field blur you'll get. It helps also to move your focus points yourself instead of having them on auto, you can focus on the eyes and have them be sharp and clear, and have everything else fade off!
